*Base Package includes the TPA protective mounting platform only. All additional accessories, components and RF packages are sold as an optional add on or can be purchased separately under the Optional Packages and Components page.
Base package includes the following-
TPA-BH5, protective mounting platform
TPA SLO aluminum spacers x 2- *these spacers are required on each side to offset the TPA due to the oversized control head of the FTM-500; the TPA cannot be installed without these spacers.
M2.6-0.45 x 8mm socket head screws- 8, these mounting screws are the appropriate length to avoid damaging the radio's internals. Not to be installed without the supplied SLO spacers.
M4-0.7 x 10mm socket head screws- 4, these mounting screws are used to affix the TPA to the SLO spacers
Installation sequence-
- Mount the SLO aluminum spacers with the supplied M2.6-0.45 x 8mm socket head screws
- Affix the TPA protective mounting frame with the supplied M4-0.7 x 10mm socket head screws
Optional- RF PnP Package, PL-TNC/RA
This package includes the following components-
PL-259 right angle to TNC female bulkhead, terminated to RG58C/U- 1ft
TNC male to BNC female adapter- 1
Relocation mount with hardware- 1

Special Notes:
*DigiRig users will not need the Data Relocation Package if you're running the DigiRig affixed to your TPA. The suggested installation is to utilize the appropriate cabling offered from DigiRig for your radio and dress the excess cable into the open area at the rear of the TPA.
*The Yaesu CT-164 data cable will be required for use with the Data Relocation Package.
The TPA is a two piece protective mounting platform that is secured to the radio's 8 side mounting holes. The TPA provides protection to the radio body and control head with a wrap around design while allowing access to all controls.
